Football
Football is one of many organised sports at Aldersley Leisure Village and there are grass and astro turf pitches available for hire across Wolverhampton.
The city council organises summer activities and run the successful Jimmy Mullin 5-a-side tournament, with the final being held at Molineux Stadium before a home match and 25,000 fans!
Miniature Golf
Whether you want to brush up on your putting skills or enjoy a leisurely round for fun with friends and family, the city has pitch and putt at Bantock Park and a putting green at West Park.
Leisure Centres
As well as recreational and instructional courses, Wolverhampton's leisure centres at Aldersley, Bentley Bridge, Bilston, Blakenhall and Central offer a selection of activities throughout the year. The largest centres have parking, baby-changing facilities and light refreshments. Birthday parties may also be arranged.
Aldersley Leisure Village offers a great diversity of sports and entertainment pursuits under one roof, including grass and astro-turf pitches, an athletics arena and a cycle track.
Bilston Leisure Centre has indoor pools including a leisure and trainer pool. Indoor sports facilities include squash and racketball, snooker and a new soft-play area for under 5's.
Tennis
There are tennis facilities at West Park, Bradmore Recreation Grounds and East Park. Advance booking of courts is recommended.
Sport Development, based at Aldersley Leisure Village, also offers tennis sessions in 3 stages - Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced - but players need to register before attending.
Through the holiday periods, the Wolverhampton Tennis Development Group runs a programme of events across the city at local clubs.
