City of Wolverhampton College works in partnership with the Prince's Trust to offer this personal development programme to young people aged 16-25. The programme offers the opportunity to change direction through exciting team-orientated activities.
Why do it?
The Prince's Trust Team Programme helps you develop skills such as communication, motivation, tolerance, caring for others, leadership and confidence.
Whilst on the course you can gain:
City & Guilds Award in Personal, Teamwork and Community Skills
Three Key Skill Awards
Appointed Persons First Aid Certificate
Level 2 Award in Food Safety and Catering
Prince's Trust Completion Certificate
Residential Completion Certificate
West Midlands Fire Service Health and Safety Certificate
Team members keep a record of activities which is assessed to provide the City & Guilds Award in Personal, Teamwork and Community Skills.
There is a strong emphasis on participants developing according to their own needs.
This is a free course. There are no formal entry requirements but there is an informal interview prior to entry to identify particular needs and aspirations.
The Prince's Trust Team runs throughout the year from various locations across the Black Country, including the Newhampton Arts Centre and the Molineux Stadium.
