Learning Support works with Customer Services, Learning Resource Centres and curriculum areas to co-ordinate a range of support aimed at ensuring disabled students can achieve their potential at the college.
There are 10 members of permanent staff within the service in addition to learning support workers and interpreters for deaf students. There is also a variety of technical help available including JAWS and other specialist software and adaptive technology to develop literacy, numeracy, language and study skills.
