The Midland Metro is the new state-of the art light rail system in the West Midlands. The first line of the service, Line One, provides a fast link between Wolverhampton and Snow Hill station in Birmingham City Centre via West Bromwich and Wednesbury with a journey time of less than 35 minutes.
Every tram has been designed to enable ease of access for people with disabilities, and for people with pushchairs and buggies. Features on every tram include priority seats for people with mobility difficulties, two spaces for wheelchair users, next stop information and announcements, and an emergency intercom.
The service operates between 0630 and 2330 Monday to saturday and between 0800 and 2300 on Sunday. The service operates at 8 minute intervals between 0700 and 1900 Monday to Saturday.
Senior Citizens and blind or disabled passes are available for use on the Midland Metro, as well as Centrocard and Busmaster passes and other Travel West Midlands cards and tickets.
Please note: Dogs and other pets are not carried on Midland Metro.
